Camilleri serves as the curator for Anecdotes of Jazz in Malta, a project that combines live music with film. His work also includes researching and writing the biography of Tony Carr, a Maltese musician with a remarkable career working with distinguished, world-renowned artists. He has also produced Strait Street to Abbey Road, a documentary about Carr’s life and career based on the same research.

A sought-after drummer and percussionist, he has performed and recorded with local bands, artists and collectives such as Brikkuni, Blue Tangerine, Sfera, Kym, Joon and Saydon Studios. He is currently a percussion tutor at the Malta School of Music and has hosted workshops for aspiring drummers. He performs frequently both locally and abroad.
